GP contract changes. From April 2014 all 75 year and older patients must have their own named doctor. We have always adhered to the "named doctor" principle. All patients at the practice have their own named doctor, if you are unsure about who your named doctor is please check with the reception Team.

Online Services: You can now book and cancel appointments with our doctors on-line.Please click the "Make Appointment" button below the surgery's address or click here to access  the service. An on-line repeat prescriptions request service is now also available to patients 16 years and older. To access the on-line repeat prescription service you will need to come to the Surgery to provide proof of your identity. We will accept passports, photo driving licences, debit/credit cards, photo ID cards, official documentation, etc. (Please allow at least two workdays for your registration to be activated) Please click here for more information regarding proof of ID etc.

Text reminding service: We now send text messages to remind patients of their appointments, the first when the appointment is made and the second, 48 hours before the appointment. Please ensure that we have your mobile number should you wish to receive these reminders.

Repeat prescritpions: PLEASE ALLOW 48 HOURS (i.e. 2 working days) for us to process your repeat prescriptions; unless your review date has passed and/or you are requesting medication that is not on your current repeat; in these instances it may take significantly longer. We process over 200,000 repeat prescription requests each year and will unfortunately not be able to issue repeat prescriptions on the day they are received, as that slows down the process for other patients.  We would therefore kindly remind you that the responsibility is yours to ensure that you submit your request for repeat medication in good time, before your medication runs out.

Please ensure we have an up to date phone number for you- preferably a mobile if you have one. Complete the on line 'contact details' form, or call in at reception to tell us.

Patients requiring prescriptions for the Contraceptive Pill are kindly reminded that they must allow 48 hours, following their consultation with a practice nurse, before they will be able to collect their prescriptions as these are issued by one of the GPs and not by the practice nurses.
